How much heat does the BCM dispel? Only reason I ask, is am wondering if the old radio control waterproofing method would work. By that I mean, a large thick water balloon, BCM inside with wiring through mouth, a healthy dose of RTV at the mouth and a zip tie or two to seal it. You can always rip into it if need be, but works well on the small scale, my sleep deprived brain is thinking why not at 4:30ish this morning. Not elegant, not pretty, but practical, cheap, and serviceable. Bear in mind, I've done this with success for years with both RC receivers as well as speed controls which tend to generate alot of heat and seem to do just fine w. this method. Just a thought anyway..

There is another company with a very similar process that is aiming more for the post consumer market, but I cant remember their name.

This is the most hyped one we've seen, a lot of buildup to the point where they merged with rustoleum. It works very well on items you don't flex, and that don't see a lot of abrasion. We had hoped for a few uses in the sled world, but it's use based on those criteria were limited unfortunately. In this situation though, it's an affordable, attainable option that could solve some issues.
