Badlands - June 14 (Saturday)

I will be at the Badlands on June 14th. It is the Saturday before Father's Day. I dont plan on doing anything crazy, I just want to get a feel for what I bought a few weeks ago and see what I need to do to it to help me wheel better. Anyone is welcome to come and join me. The more the merrier.

Might be up for it. Headed out this weekend to see what's what with my truck too. Gonna have to get me a flag if I head up there. And will most likely camp if we do come up.

Sounds good, see you there on Saturday. Depending on the weather I may come down and camp Friday night but I highly doubt it given it would be my daughter's first time and I really don't want a grumpy 4 year old in my truck all day. Haha.

I will be there at 10:30 EST. Plan is to leave the house at 7am which leaves me about 15 minutes of wiggle room to refuel and make one last bathroom break for the kid. I need to order my CB antenna still and hook up my CB. Hopefully I can wire it in tonight or tomorrow so I can at least be ready once the antenna arrives in the mail.

It looks like I might leave sat morning instead of friday night. We'll be camping sat night though. It looks like it's gonna be about 4 hrs so probably be there around 10am est.... I'm down to hang out Sunday morning and wheel a little more if anyone else wants to.

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been staying away from this post because it was looking like I would not have a chance to attend. I might have my front axle issues resolved in the next 24hrs. So that changes everything. I have some new tires and winch to mount in the next week and as long as work schedule cooperates I will be there.
If anything comes up in the next week I will update. But count me in for now. Looking forward to meeting you all.

The badlands are in attica Indiana, which is almost to the Illinois border in central region of the state. Just do a search for badlands off road park on Google and you'll find it.

It's 700-800 acres with sand dunes, muddy trails, rock quarry, it has a little something for everyone.

There's a campground at the entrance to Badlands. It's called the Attica family campground I believe. $8/person per night. I'll probably be there about 10 to check in, drop off the camping gear and head into the park.

I would be camping friday night but I gotta wait for my gf to get home and with the damn time change, I wouldn't be getting there til 11pm... That may change if she can get outta work early.

I'm on the fence with camping Sat night,it's only 140 miles for me. I would be coming with my 15 yo son.
