It's time to sell the Unit!

Not really, I'm helping a friend here in Tucson sell his '09 H3T Alpha Adventure. I don't have any pics yet - I just wanted to see if there was any initial intereste and to offer a great rig at a great price to any interested H4Oer to keep it in the "family".

Here are the details:

Boulder gray, original owner, approx. 26K miles, never been wheeled, mint condition, lux package, sunroof, back-up camera, BA bumper w/winch. Would let go for $28,500, but not any lower. If anyone is interested, let me know & I will go by his work & take some pics tomorrow. He originally was asking for $35K but needs to sell it soon, so he's lowered the price. Believe me, if we hadn't just purchased the H3 CE, I'd be all over this rig and would have bought it by now. it used to have a slant back bed cover but he sold it a couple of months ago.

I could see Dave in a T alpha adventure. It's also the only model he's probably never owned! :giggle:

If only this had come up a few months ago I'd have bought it on the spot. If it were local I'd see if I could make something work... Hope it goes to a good home and gets the wheeling it deserves.

I'll be taking some pics later today. One good thing about getting a vehicle that was purchased and kept in southern Arizona is that they should be rust-free.

I don't even remember my fraternity secret handshake and I run into my old frat brothers about as often as I see another H3T.:)

Just got back from taking pics. In addition to the info. in the first post, here's some more info about this beast:

Gray (same color as Portager's), color-matched grille, black locking gas cover, factory nav., back-up camera, towing package, tailgate lock, sunroof, cloth interior, home link system, BA rear shock-mount skids, OEM UCP, OEM side steps, OEM roof rails (not pictured), OEM brushguard (not pictured), all dealer service & up-to-date, Mobile 1 syn oil., never been wrecked, never been smoked in, ARB on-board air (outlet nozzle is accessible from the opening on the right side of the BA bumper w/cabin on/off switch, see pics below). I thought he had sold the Snugtop color-matched slantback but he still has it and is asking an extra $1,500 for it (he paid around $5k for it new), if you want it (not pictured). So, if you want the slantback Snugtop, he is asking an even, $30k. Without the slantback, $28, 500. This is one hell-of-a-deal & I hope that someone on the forum becomes the proud owner of this rig. He also still has and will include, the OEM bumper if you want to go back to stock.

There is something vaguely familiar about that truck.

One thing I like about the graphite gray metallic is it blends with the gray plastic.

Sounds like it is loaded, except for the cloth seats.

When we bought the H3 Alpha I wanted the most basic truck I could get including cloth seats. I was told at that time that only leather was currently available. I was also told that I had the first H3 Alpha Adventure in SoCal. Rather than wait I got the loaded out leather truck. I actually prefer the cloth seats. ( not the wife though ) If I could have gotten roll up windows I think I would have ordered it that way.

..and if anyone wants to see what this truck would like like with the color-matched slantback on it, just scroll up to Portager's post above w/his sig pic (thanks Mike). The owner of this rig had to special order the cloth seats from the factory becuase this package only came with leather. He has pics of this rig while still on the assembly line in Louisiana. He has taken very good care of it.
