Thanks. I’m a total newb when it comes to paint/body work but, YouTube has taught me all I need to know.
Today I broke out the 2000 grit on the other side. Some really nasty scratches.

Changed the brake pads, ebc greenstuff pads. Also picked up this really cool hummer stereo! Based off the H2, but still cool!

I am jealous of you guys that have good enough weather to work in the driveway!
I have a pile of parts to go on the 'ol k1500 Blazer but we had a crazy snow storm yesterday!! the 14 day forecast does not give much promise for warm weather either :gaah:
I got a good start on my drawer system. I’ll install roller bearings and start fabing the drawer frames when weather permits. I look forward to not having to tie down my tool bags anymore.
I also shoehorned a twin ARB in the rear door for quicker air up of the bigger 37”s. I ran a single in the same location for a couple years and it worked great.

If you’re referring to cab noise vs an under the hood mount, I’m sure it’d be louder in the cab if I had the doors closed and running air lockers or a remote tank but I only run it with the door open while airing up. I like this location as it keeps it cleaner / dryer than under the hood or chassis. I could see over heating possibly being an issue but I never had a problem with my single in the same location. Time will tell. Haven’t run it through the paces yet.

This was a location I really considered, how did you run the wires?
Installed a Daystar 3/8”-1” firewall boot and ran two power and a ground down the driver side interior panels and through the factory rear door boot and used the power off the rear wiper for the accessory power to the switch that is also in the rear door. Pretty dang tight fishing the wires through the boot especially with power and signal for the rear camera and the CB coax already in there. I turned the air output out the back of the unit with flex hose to a coupler elsewhere on the door.
Found a set of the newer style front door panels for a reasonable price. Can't wait to get them in and swap those out, I hate the early style window switch location. Guess I need to decide about keeping or ditching the chrome mirrors and handles.

Sequel to a recent thread, “If it’s not one thing it’s another” I crossed off sway links and sway bar bushings this weekend, with a surprise. Want to tell me what’s not supposed to be on the skid plate? This is exactly how I found it.
And low and behold, the rear most exhaust manifold bolt head decided it wanted to shear off. By the looks of it, it’s been there a little while. Probably a month or two, and there hasn’t been anymore exhaust noise than normal.
Here’s where it should be.

I replaced my battery over the winter with a yellow top, I have to say I was disappointed in the cold cranking amps in the winter time.... maybe I got a dud?
I grabbed a yellow top about 2 years ago as well for my 06’ H3 w/ I5. My winters get fairly cold here in the winter within New England however, I found charging the yellow top per their peak charging method was very noticeable upon initial start-up. I have no way to know if their charge method prior to use made a difference but I followed per the instructions. I have never seen a battery require special charge instructions prior to use and if it even makes a difference.
