No experience with it myself, but I've heard there are these resisters that can go out pretty easily and cause your HVAC not to work. That or maybe heater core. Notice any smell of coolant or anything like that?

No smell of coolant I do know there was a recall about the switches that operate the hvac I wonder if that or a fuse could be the guilty party

Did you check the wiring or fuses? There is a current recall for the blower motor wiring...

Well checked the fuses and none are blown so I guess my next day off will be spent at the dealership for the recall

Dealership can't fix the recall issue yet, as GM has not yet come up with a repair. It's still pending.

I had a similar problem with the blower motor not working several years ago and the blower motor resistor is on the passenger side underneath the glove compartment. When i checked the resistor the plastic/wire had melted, I wiggled the wires and the blower motor turned on. I ended up cleaning up the resistor and applying electrical tape to the wires. I haven't any problems with the resistor or blower since then.

My HVAC blower stopped working a week ago. Called dealer last week and they ordered a new harness to be ready for my appointment today.Just got back from dealer and they replaced the harness under recall warranty free of charge. Connector pins were burnt out. I will still have to take it back once the recall bulletin is released, but at least the blower is working again.

That's great. Most dealers are still charging for fixing this issue until the recall "fix" is released, with th caveat that owners may be reimbursed at that time. Nice to see a dealer step up and do right.

Well I took it in today and was told I would have to pay 200 dollars to have it fixed and might get reimbursed after gm releases the fix for the recall so I just brought it home and now I'm waiting on the wife to get home from work and the parts store

So, have you fixed the problem?

I'm browsing the site, hoping to find some info.......My heater is currently not working, but sometimes it comes on ok. Everything seems working fine, just there's no heat coming out. I had the recall replaced and fixed a year ago and all are working, but the last two weeks.
