Do you guys think it's a little overboard with the red? I don't want my h3 to look like a mall crawler

Who cares what they think. I keep mine spotless 95% of the time. You should see the looks I get when I drive through town with the h3 all dirty, especially the other h3s, it's like they don't know it's an off road vehicle.

Btw I think the accents look great!

Thanks man! I was checking up on you build and I saw you did the bumper mod. Would you mind replying to my other post and tell me how you did it?

Already did bud...the hardest part is getting all of the plastic pins off from the plastic bumper... Trust me there's a lot of them...and some of them are hidden under the side wings...like I said just get understand it and began taking the plastic pins off and you'll get going...I believe you have to take the grill off since there's 2 of those damn plastic clips are cover by the grill.

No problem I picked up my sheet of metal from autozone I think it was a huge oil pan or something for about a couple of bucks and I only use half of it so you are left out with some extra material if you are to need it or if you mess up cutting it out

Personally I think the roof bars would look better black.

What I think would nicely tie in the red on the hood would be two or three diagonal black lines that progressively get thicker as the lines get closer to the rear

\ \\ \ \ sort of thing if that makes any sense

Glad to help! I think it would tie that in very well and give it a bit more of an aggressive look!
I do like the red on the hood like that though so even if the black doesn't work I'd say keep the red for sure!
